What you'll need:

a yoga mat, or a comfortable place to lay; a couch, bed, etc.

An eye covering.

Earplugs, if your place is noisy or distracting.

A blanket or something cozy to cover yourself (optional).

Optional: a speaker or earphones to enhance the drumming and your experience.

Basically, you want to delve deeply, relaxed, with no distractions for an optimal journey experience.

Therefore, good to not have your cat kneading your chest or your dog licking your face or munching on a bone. Best to be in a room alone. No children and no cell phone.

Allow yourself quiet time just for 15 or 20 minutes.
