SAFETY & PARTICIPATION

Children will remain with the group and instructor at all times.
Activities take place outdoors and may include walking on uneven ground, sitting on the earth, and interacting with natural elements such as plants, trees, rocks, and insects.
Participants should wear appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.

Parents or guardians are responsible for informing the instructor of any allergies, medical conditions, behavioral concerns, or special accommodations prior to the program.
In the event of illness, injury, or unsafe behavior that interferes with the well-being of the group,
a parent or guardian may be contacted for immediate pickup.
This program emphasizes respect for nature, wildlife, fellow participants, and park visitors. Children are expected to follow safety guidelines and remain within designated activity areas at all times.

Age & Participation Requirements
Children must be entering or enrolled in 2nd grade or above. Participants must be able to participate independently in a small-group outdoor setting, follow directions, remain with the group during activities, and engage respectfully with nature, fellow participants, and the instructor.
Because the program includes guided activities, quiet observation, creative projects, and group participation, children should be able to attend to activities independently and participate appropriately for the age group.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Due to the small-group nature of this program, cancellations within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable unless the space can be filled by another participant.

BAD WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:
Because this is an outdoor program with no shelter, classes may be cancelled due to rain or unsafe weather conditions. In this case, a make-up session will be offered at a later date. Make-up timing may vary depending on scheduling availability.
